2005 was the most incredible ride I've ever been on as a Sports fan (and I'm a Cowboys fan).

We all know the bad. Lets talk about the good.

one of my favorite Mack Brown moments happened (surprise) in 2005.

Sideline reporter: How impressed were your players when they walked into The Horseshoe tonight?

Mack Brown: They're impressed, but they've been in nice places before...

I've never been through so many emotions in one game. Afterward, we just sat at the car, parked on the golf course. Virtually every USC fan who came by said it was also the best game they'd seen. And they also asked if the entire State of Texas had come to L.A. That was also amazing; we went from Venice to Malibu and Hollywood to Pasadena that week and everywhere you went you saw burnt orange. THAT is what I want to see again from our fan base.

Mack has been our coach for 16 of the 17 years of my life, growing up a longhorn I feel he should be remembered for all the great things he did for the university, not by the last 4 years. He was a great coach and will always be remembered for what he did, with the 05 season and even the 08 and 09 years. We should at least give him a statue or something outside the stadium to show how much he meant to us as a football program and university.

What a conglomerate of talent. When we won I wept. I was blessed to have been to most of those games. Did not make it in the rrr, and did not travel to the two OSU and Mizzou games. Looking forward to some new great memories instead of sitting in DKR wishing they sold beer.
