***Texas @ West Virginia Series Thread***

Someone mentioned yesterday the WVU announcers were horrible. I disagree, they're worse than horrible! If that's even possible.

Bottom 6

Inman- Popout in foul territory to Petrinsky

Gray- Double down the RF line

Doanes- 6-3 groundout

Gonzalez- (Wild pitch scores Inman. 4-2 WVU) Walk

Hamilton- Strikeout looking

4-2 WVU after 6

Pretty lazy play (or lack of a play) there by DJ.
  1. He had no chance to get the runner coming home, regardless of hustle
  2. Home Blue and DJ got tangled up, which made matters worse.
  3. That's on Henley 100%, not DJ

While I agree with #1 & #2, it looked to me that he could have done a better job blocking that ball. Either way it sucks cause that man would have been stranded at 3rd.

Clemens- Strikeout swinging

Zubia- 5-3 groundout. Zubia trips going over 1st base but appears to be alright.

Texas can't push across the tying run. 4-3

Bottom 7

Galusky- Strikeout looking

Zarbnisky- HBP

White- Strikeout swinging. White is called for batters interference with Zarbnisky trying to steal 2nd

4-3 after 7

marathon AB by DJ.  13 pitches.

Doanes- Triple to the wall in LCF. 3 runs scores.

7-3 WVU

Gonzelez- Popout to 3rd

Galusky- Infield single. Reynolds throw is wide of the bag.

Runners at the corners with 1 away and Texas is going to the bullpen

Bryce Elder is the new pitcher

Zarbnisky- Strikeout looking

White- Walk

Bases are loaded

Hill- 6-3 groundout

Last chance for Texas coming up, trailing 8-3
