We were outplayed, period.  No more pathetic excuses. 

When was the last time we saw Texas Tech defense man handle our offense?  Well you just did.

Beck sucks monkey balls.   Sam ALWAYS gives away the f##king game, every f##king game.  Kid has zero brain cells.  USC, ou, OSU, and TT.  Tech is hardly a top 10 team and we just lost at home to this trash team.   Our at home record is garbage.   Herman hasnt done shit for this team.  Orlando has done more for this team than he has.  Beck cant get 2 yards in 8 plays inside the 5.  What a joke.

Promote Orlando? Might have to agree...Herman has not managed or led this team to jack shit this year.  The "plan" should involve decent coaching this season not just for the future.

1. What exactly did this game mean in the grand scheme of things?  The difference between a bowl in San Antonio, Orlando or Memphis? One more win is pretty much just lipstick on a pig. 

2. While I am not a fan of Beck & his play calling, the offense has 6 FR/SO starters and 12 on the 2-deep.  A lot of this is due to injury or little depth, a product of the last regime.  Still think something must be done at OC.

I am more than willing to see what Herman can do with some of his own recruits, and unfortunately that will take another season or two.

Had nothing to do with a bowl for us, IMO. I actually said I hope we don't go to a bowl at all.

The game was the difference in visible, showable progress (7-5) and seeing something that shows us we're right where we were when this started (6-6).

I dare say it meant more to us, or should have, than it did to Tech with a bowl shot on the line.

Sam will be Sam. Sam is a shitty passer. Great athlete but a shitty passer and Tim Beck knows that and constantly puts him in positions to F@#K himself and the team. 

How can anybody defend Tim Beck? He has been the worst OC I have seen. I don’t remember any of the last 5 or 6 being this bad. Most of them weren’t good, but Tim Beck is a special kind of idiot. 

This is the issue. Ok fine, the INT is on Ehlinger. But Beck has to know that Ehlinger has very low football IQ and has a tendency to make dumbass decisions in pressure situations. Why in the world would Beck put that in Sam's hands in that situation? Run the damn ball, and if you don't get the 1st down, you have Dicko to pin them inside the 20. Make them march down the field to beat you.

I can see that the sense of entitlement is still strong with this football team and it will continue to get it's ass beat by lesser programs on a regular basis. I don't see a bright future any time soon. I'm not drinking the kool-aide.

I'm in no way a Beck apologist, but what poor position did he put the offense in? What play call was absolutely atrocious? Idk, hindsight is 20/20. And had the offense executed we win goin away...

I do agree that had the offense executed we win the game going away. However, not running the ball on 3rd and 2 late in the game was an absolutely atrocious call. 

I stayed neutral on Beck all year but that was the final straw for me.
