With yesterday's victory, the Longhorns snapped the following Tech streaks:

• 11-game winning streak in Big 12 Conference play
• 13-game home winning streak (3rd longest in the country)
• The loss was Tech's first loss at home since March 6th vs Cal St. Fullerton

Today's Matchup on the Mound will be

TT LHP Hayden Howard (6-1; 1.91 ERA) vs UT Kyle Johnston (2-1; 2.70 ERA)

Howard has not started a game for Tech, and has appeared in 19 games.  His last action was Wednesday in a loss vs UNM, where he threw for 0.2 of an inning, giving up 2 hits, 1 run, faced 4, threw 13 pitches and got two ground outs.
