Yeah I mean given the gravity of the game due to all the "playing for a job" and "playing for my coach" talk - neither the coaches nor the players look like they are playing with that passion and grit

You were expecting more for the same reason anybody was! Because these kids professed their love for Strong, cried for him, threatened to sit out for him... which tell me that they were gonna come

Out and play this game like their beloved coaches job was on the line. They are not.

And Gilbert is just terrible.
