The only outfielder that is playing and learning a new position is Travis Jones. Jones played shortstop for Atascocita High School and for Columbia Angels.

Two thoughts there:

After a great play to cut down the runner at home, you can't give up 2-bases and a run on a stolen base.

Cantu HAS to make a better throw and Tres has to pop off of the bag and get in front of that ball and knock it down.

My plans changed so I can watch some of this game. Cantu should have held on to that ball, he got a good jump and there were 2 outs. A base hit is going to score him anyway. Oh well.
