For a few years all we have had is a decent to good pitching staff giving us hope we could win a bunch of low-scoring games.

Now what have we got?

 
Texas is clearly not in the same zip code of Omaha teams, (which I believe Stanford is one.)

I also think it’s a good time to point out that Pierce’s first full recruiting class gets to the 40 in August. The team he has right now is somewhat duct tape and bailing wire. There is some pretty good chemistry with this bunch, but there are still several holes that need to be filled.

I don't disagree but the lack of development of some of the current players is a little concerning.  With that said he needs to get his guys on campus to be fully evaluated.
