Good morning folks. I trust everyone got a good night's sleep.  Let's do this today. 

The Longhorns looks to close out the series over the Cardinal with a victory.  Yesterday the bats came alive as the Horns jumped all over the Stanford starter for a 6-run 4th innning, effectively putting the game out of reach.  Ty Culbreth was nails on the bump as the Stanford hitters could not figure him out all day.  He pitched a gem.

Yea, he's struggling for sure. Stanford caught a break on that slow grounder to 3rd or Texas would have escaped that bases loaded jam.

Kody made a very smart baseball play on that 5-4 play.  He fielded the ball, looked back the runner coming off of 2B, and the runner froze too long, too far away from the bag.  Really heads-up play for true frosh.
