Couple of notes for y'all.  Due to Matt being set up in a broom closet, there is no electricity to power his laptop, so I'm back with PBP today. 

Matt is diligently searching for some Rock Star Energy Drink to soak the hamster pellets in so his 2003 Toshiba laptop can make it through the fourth inning.

Cannot over-state the importance of this game. In fact, I think the Texas/Oregon State winner will go on to win the Regional. (I'm on the record!)

A few notes on OSU:

- 3-1 against the Big 12 this year

- Team ERA is 2.88 (11th in nation) - 7.11 hits/game (3rd nationally)

- OSU is 9-0 in Regional openers under Pat Casey

The background on this for those wondering is Dallas Baptist has no pressbox for visiting teams.  Media are sitting in front of a box suite (where there is no power).  

Supposedly they are trying to run some extension cords out for media members.
