As good as the defensive lineup is, the ultimate decision will also depend on how Sawyer, Mayes & Schimpf pitch.

Clemens absolutely has the ability to help this team win from the mound. Can he be effective as a spot reliever and still play regularly at 1B? There's another big question that Augie & Skip will want to answer.
