I knew we would lose one of the two remaining games, I just didn't really think it would be to Kansas. The thought occurred but I didn't really think it would happen.

I wonder how much we a really willing to pay out for a head coach. If we are paying 5mil a year for this them maybe we should be paying 10 mill for a decent coach.

We have one more chance to fix this program with the next hire.. If we don't then we might as well stop trying.

I'm not cursing, but understand why you would. The waste of talent is terrible. Foreman had 46 carries? No one should be asked to do that because other parts of the team are underdeveloped. He could have been injured and put his future professional career at risk.

I kept wondering when they were going to sit him for his welfare, and they never did. He wasn't uninterested at the end of the game, he was exhausted. The coaches should be horsewhipped.

Sad part about this is that the kid is probably blaming himself for costing Charlie his job. He has done everything asked of him and then some. Take the money and run young man.

I want to throw this out there, then I'm going to try to sign off for a while:

Fenves is an academic with no football background.  There is no reason for him to have any input into the athletic department other than rubber stamp the decisions that a bona fide athletic director and the Athletic Council make.  Texas is one of the only programs, if not the only program, in the country that is not only self-sustaining, but supports the athletic department, as well as, sending millions to the academic side each and every year.  An academic meddling in athletic affairs can cause enough damage to stop that flow of money and cost The University millions.

I want a search, like the search that we had when Mackovic was fired, to hire the best available.  Then pay the man!  Move over shallow water, let the deep water roll.
