Texas vs. Kansas State game thread

Not in the least bit. Couldn't get anything going tonight. Who''s throwing tomorrow??

Huge win. We had to get the W, especially once we committed to starting French today instead of tomorrow. If we burned through our two best starters without a win, I don't know how the guys would have gotten themselves out of bed tomorrow morning. K State's Sunday starter is pretty good so the guys really need to keep this momentum going and take the series tomorrow.

What happened? I thought we lost again? Damn! Hook'em!!!!!!!!!!!
Texas came back from down 3-0 to tie it up and take the game to extra innings. Corey Knebel had four shutout innings in relief to get the win and we won in the 11th. Taylor Stell had a very big pinch hit single during the rally in the 11th.

Jacquez is on the mound tomorrow.

Horns were down 4-2 in the top of the 8th and scored 2 runs to tie it up. I think it was a sacrifice bunt and then the other run scored on a balk. Then the game went into extra innings and Texas scored two in the 11th. Weiss had an RBI - that's all I know for sure. WHAT A BIG COMEBACK.

Guys, what is the rotation looking like for tomorrow?

I noticed Walsh put together another multi-hit game. He had 2 hits in yesterday's loss too. Rubber match tomorrow - take no prisoners!

Jacquez will be starting, hopefully going at least 4 solid innings...

Hoby Milner possibly for an inning (he's done 2.2 innings so far this weekend)

Corey Knebel is probably spent after 4 innings and 63 pitches today.

Available arms:

Dillon Peters

John Curtiss

Austin Dicharry

Justin Peters or Josh Urban (would be nice to get either of these two guys some time)

Ideally, the bats are hot for Texas and the guys are pumped up after the extra inning victory. Hopefully we killed their spirit. It could very well be a looooong game though.

After tomorrow's game, we don't have to play again until Wednesday this week, so that gives them a little more wiggle room if someone needs to go longer than usual.

Rubber match today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Weeeeeiiiiiiiiiissssssssssssssssssss!!! Nnnnnnnnnnnnniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiccccccccccccccccccccccccccceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

Just tuned back in and Texas leads 6-4 still in the top of the 8th. 13 hits so far is impressive. Kansas State has 9 hits so today is batter's feast day - for sure.
