*****Texas vs. Kansas State Game Thread*****

Well I guess they had enough. Texas now inside the five after a QB keeper. Texas trying to take the lead before half.

The Texas offense is alive and well. Touchdown Kyle Porter. Texas leads 21-17 with 16 seconds left in the half.

Nice way to end the half.  Wait...there is still 16 seconds.  How many seconds did USC have before the half?

I don't see how they can go back to Shane now.

The offense hums with Sam and he looks so confident nothing bothers him. Guys rally around that

I think Sam is QB#1.  His running ability, moxie, and fearlessness is off the charts.  He adds a dimension to the offense that gets defenses off balanced.  A combination of Heard and Buechele.

Love that we got the lead..... one of the play-by-play guys mentioned K-State  is like 50-3 when they have the lead going into halftime or something crazy like that.

The Texas offense has a pulse, folks. Should be a fun second half if they can keep this up. Big takeaway for me is that the OL kept Sam clean unless I missed a play when I stepped outside.

Guys, I just got home. Couldn't watch the first half, except for the score. Would anyone be so kind to give me a brief wrap-up? Would be very appreciated!

How does Cuney look to you Mr. Seahorn ?
Haven’t watched him consistently. I’ve seen some penetration in the interior, but I can’t say for certain he was the cause without rewatching. That hit Ehlinger took on that completed pass may have been him.

Looked like K-State was about to open up a can of whoop ass on offense but Texas responded nearly every time with a TD.

Random thoughts.

1) O line looks much much better. Not mauling people but not having total busts either

2) Sam's legs are a big weapon. He had thrown the ball pretty well after the first int

3) worried about more Kansas State big pass plays in the second half. Busted coverage on the first long TD and the corners have had trouble on double moves. Ertz missed two wide open opportunities.

4) You know Snyder and crew will make adjustments. What adjustments do we make?

5) I'm liking me some Toneil Carter. Kid has a burst and always seems to fall forward.

Thanks guys, looking very much forward to watch the second half. Who will get the ball first?

Sam playing well is great news, was looking forward to one of the QBs coming to play and inspiring people. (I really like both but I think it is good for the team is one really shines and solidifies his starting positions before the OU and OSU game). And how great is it OU lost to ISU? Feels like I missed so much in a couple of hours
