This is way worse than the TCU loss. At least TCU is undefeated still. This is the lowest point of the program I can remember. This going to destroy any recruiting momentum, and the talk of Charlie going to Miami is going to increase causing more recruits to jump ship.

Let him leave at this point. I'm ok with another coach reaping the reward. This crap is embarrassing, our offense hasn't gotten past the 50 yard line against a 2 win team.

I still think they will give Strong one more year but that's it. Tonight sucks, no sugar coating this one.

I want to believe in Strong but I am afraid he is becoming the John Blake of Texas.  This is a huge set back.  

Northern Iowa scored 7 and Kansas scored 13 on Iowa State.  This is total embarrassment with Texas being shut out.

My 2-cents:

This is not a Heard/Swoopes problem.  This is a combination of the following:

• Coaching: How you don't have your team ready to play a cellar-dweller like ISU is beyond me.
• Coordinators: How your OC calls a game that fails to open up 9-in-the-box Defense by stretching downfield by pass, is again, beyond me.
• OL: We are still very young and inexperienced at OL.  When they have one thing to do; run block, they are serviceable.  When they are challenged with pass protection, they are not there. 
• Upperclassmen: I don't see a give-a-shit factor of very high when it comes to the Juniors/Seniors out there.  Sure, there's some effort, but there just doesn't seem to be the same buy-in that the FR/SO kids have when it comes to effort.  Whether this is a function of coaching is debateable.  They aren't Charlie's guys. 

That's all I have.  I'm off to drink some bourbon and watch the Cougs hopefully have a good game vs. Stanford.

The only thing that can turn this thing around, IMO, can't even happen until the end of the season. And that's a lot of position/coordinator changes.

100% coaches fault. I like charlie but I like winning more...he and his staff are not the solution to the troubles with the program. Rhodes had his team ready to win  tonight and charlie just pissed away an opportunity to win his third game in a row due to lack of preparation and  poor mental attitude. No fire from this team at all .it was evident from the first series no excuse for losing this one like this....take the train charlie!

Michigan fighting for wins...blah blah blah they have more upperclassmen talent... We should at least be competitive vs Random St. Deflating. The wait until the ship is righted mantra looses steam, no reason we shouldn't be able to game plan and put some points on the board against these no names.
