I'm by no means calling for Augie's head yet. Still very early in the season, but it's getting close to time for a change if there isn't progress soon.

This would actually be a good time for a transition with all the young talent we have on the roster. Seems similar to Barnes.Things are just a little stale and might need new juice in the program.

With that said, Augie proved me wrong a couple years ago getting to the national semis. Wait and see right now, but right now we aren't making progress.

Thanks to all who joined us today.

It's time for this Texas team to figure out who they are going to be this year.

Bottom line, they have to get better at the plate and with RISP, and eliminate the defensive miscues.

We'll be back here tomorrow at noon.  Hook Em!

Oh well. Another learning experience.

We're not even going to get that coveted split at home.

It's well past time for a house cleaning, and I'm saying a complete house cleaning. I know a lot of posters are high on Skip Johnson. I am not in that camp, but I also admit my feelings are more personal. Texas has been surpassed by so many programs in the region it's embarrassing. Augie has had a storybook career, but sometimes it's just time to walk away. I will always respect Augie for what he brought to the baseball program, but it's time to find his replacement.
