Texas vs Butler

[tejasrulz]

Maybe they will call the push off on Butler too?

[Juan]

Oh great, here comes Willis Reed back in the game

[MikeV73]

Wow, 31 points.

[Epictetus]

Just heard Baylor lost. Spring Break here means no break... busy, busy.

ISU and Baylor ... two #3 seeds down. 1-pt losses. Weird.

Back to Horns game... we'll see.

[Juan]

Holmes has 15 points.
Rest of UT: 16 points.

Why doesn't this program develop Larry Bird dead-ringer shooters?

Or Kevin Durant knock-down-rainbow-arch nothing-but-net shooters?

Some of the 3's aren't even lined up or even close.

They land sidways off a corner of the basket as if they were never on an arch to even be close.

How do you get this far playing the game and not even develop a pretty good shot??

[doc longhorn]

Historic game - Barnes last with the Texas Longhorns.

How about just get out of the first weekend with our NBA lottery picks?

Turner continues to disappoint this season. Not the game changer I thought he would be when he commited. Maybe he will stick around for next season and show some progress. Now hold on to the ball.

7 down with 4:39 to go

[Aaron Carrara]

4:49 left in the game and Butler leads Texas 44-37.

[MikeV73]

Schooled by the Injured reserve guy, oh my this doesn't get better.

[utisdabomb12]

Welp, looks like Barnes is done. Huge size advantage and I don't think we've gotten the ball inside all half.

Offensively he looks to be playing scared. Wonder why? Defensively, he's been playing very well.

Barnes gets in their heads

Our players become more concerned with what Rick will think or how he will react than they do playing the game

He is not only a poor tactician but poor motivator as well

Not looking like draftable guys let alone lottery picks. Wait, Patterson was an NBA GM maybe he can coach too! Put that in there to reference the basketball knowledge of our former NBA GM from another thread...enjoy.

Shades of a BYU road game...
