Nice to see Harrison come in and get an out in a high leverage situation. He has been pretty good at that this year.

2 outs and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Nixon comes in for some early work and gets a weak grounder to end the inning (nice play by Faltine on a slow roller).

I assume you're getting your info from the official scorer but I thought that was yet another passed ball by the catcher, I mean the ball hit his mitt! 

I shouldn't have bragged on Faltine yesterday, I jinxed him. ?

I post pretty much immediately, and yeah, I look at official scorer, but they change the calls later, as both you've referenced were PBs.

But what if he hits 2 per game?? ?

Well, 2X17=34 so he would end the season with 55 HRs and an all-time collegiate record. Easy math right now is that he is hitting a HR every 2 games (0.512 HR per game). All time record is held by Oklahoma state slugger Pete Incaviglia who hit 0.75 HRs a game.

When this team is playing well, I have confidence we will beat anyone in the country.   Hopefully the lengthy swoon is over.

Baylor sucks but only allowing 9 runs all weekend is so refreshing.

Great weekend series sweep of Baylor. Great pitching and hitting. 

Much needed sweep of a team. Need to show this stuff for the rest of the season especially next weekend against Okie Lite.

I was surprised to see Nixon go back out there for the 9th after getting an out in the 7th and pitching the 8th. He didn't labor for those first 4 outs so maybe that is why. For his confidence, I maybe woulda shut it down after 4 straight outs before the control issues popped back up in the 9th. Nice to see that he worked out of it though.
