Texas vs. Baylor. Weekend baseball series

Bats have been alive all season. It’s the pitching that has been suspect.
Team has been averaging 8 runs a game which would land in the top 10 for top scoring Texas teams. At times, the offense has not shown up for specific games and at other times has exploded. I mentioned in a different thread though that only about 4 losses could really be blamed on the offense, 2 times we have lost with the opponent scoring 4 runs and 2 times when they score 5. Every other loss the opponent has scored more than that which is more of a pitching issue like you said.

Currently at 73 HRs and the team record is 81 in 2010. Melendez already tied for 4th most HRs in a season, Faltine and Stehyl could easily land in the top 10.
Melendez currently leads the nation with 19 HRs headed into today.  Also, with a Team BA of .319, Texas falls in the top 6 nationally.

I personally thought it was a passed ball by the catcher but he would have walked in the run anyway.

In the 4th, Campbell had 3rd stolen by a mile. Not sure why the Baylor catcher threw the ball (ended up in left field) but glad he did.

I assume you're getting your info from the official scorer but I thought that was yet another passed ball by the catcher, I mean the ball hit his mitt!

I shouldn't have bragged on Faltine yesterday, I jinxed him. ?
