*****Texas vs. Baylor Game Thread*****

need a victory against either TCU or WVU and Texas finishes 7-5 (they beat beat Kansas and Tech).  I think all of us wanted 8-4, but I will take 7-5 with no blowout losses and knowing they could easily be 10-2.

Iowa st marched right down the field against TCU, this is my first game to truly watch em. See how impressed or unimpressed I am here pretty quick. So far 7-0 ISU. And WV Defense is so bad. Just watched the full game against okiestate. I’m still betting on 8-4. Our defense is that dominate

We found some RB's hiding on the depth charts.  Cheers to Carter and Young

Our defense has been NC level.

Since the Maryland game we have only had 3 bad quarters of defense: 1st quarter of ou, and 2nd half of KSU game

Y'all excuse me for chiming in at this point, but I have been sick all week & going to work. I am a bit of a zombie.

Watched the entire game. I don't know if the improved offense was a result of an expanded play book with Boo as qb or because Tim Beck had a great deal of help with game planning.  Looks like Vahe playing made a big difference.

Also, someone decided to play Young and Carter a lot. Beck?  I doubt it.

There were simply too many changes for Beck to have had the same level of input as in weeks passed.

One other thing...I am pretty certain that our guys have sensors in their helmets that detect and record force.  If that's the case, then that may be why the guys are evaluated so quickly in-game.

Winning feels good!  Hook 'em!!

I didn’t look a lot at his blocking......would have to go back and check out the tape, but Cuney’s snaps are excellent. Hit Shane right in the hands all day.

Have to be pretty satisfied with the way Shane played today. I understand the push for Sam, he's better. But part of me doesn't like the notion of losing Shane, which we likely do if Sam becomes full-time starter.

Totally agree.  Other than the one holding call on TCs TD (which I thought could've been a no call) I thought Cunney did a good job.  I would consider leaving him at C and working Shack at G.  Also, I thought Tristan did a good job in the the run game...still a liability in pass blocking

Announcers just said South Florida is the most penalized teams in the nation. IMAGINE THAT!!!! I don’t know about y’all but the Coyote is glad we have Tom Herman leading us now.

Ooooooooooo

TCU getting thumped. Im glad we could shut down the ISU receivers. There a legit group

I would love for this team to hold on to Hill, Jefferson, Elliott AND Orlando for next year.  This defense would be lights out.

Is Okafor hurt? I never saw him out there, but I damn sure saw Nickelson whiff on plenty of blocks

Iowa State is better with the new quarterback.  Wasn't buying the 80's rockstar wannabe QB.

Iowa State just picked off Hill ...they going to win

What is it with Iowa State always beating a top 10 team the week before we play them?
