*****Texas vs. Baylor Game Thread*****

Baylor has put points on teams tgis year which goes to show how dominating this defense actually is.

Carter averaged 4.6 YPC and Young 8.5.... that’s something we haven’t seen all year. Keep em in. Sit the other 2. The young guns have what it takes

Despite some of the play calls, I have to admit that Beck actually had a good game plan.  I was happy to see more of the power running game and quick throws.  His plan helped the Oline out a lot today.

Ok, let the beheading begin, but that's what I saw.

Probably just me but line looks a lot better when QB stays in the pocket for more than a few seconds. Hard to hold your man off when your QB is rounding the corner. I like Sam a lot but this year we need a pocket passer. I agree. Maybe Sam can be that. Right now his first step is to the sidelines

I said we needed a statement win and we got one. A 31 point win when everyone expected a close win or loss. Baylor is winless but they aren't Kansas and they played some great teams close. If we can beat TCU in Fort Worth the train will be leaving the station IMO and recruits will be running to catch it.  Power of positive thinking!

As an aside I thought Young's film showed the most potential off all of our running backs, Carter included. He just had that knack. Really cool to see him bring it.
