***** Texas vs. Baylor Game Thread*****

And Baylor had a QB who didn't know the rules of intentional grounding and couldn't throw 5 yards. Nice win. The chest bumping is ridiculous. Is this how far Texas football has fallen?

Look, I agree that Baylor's coaching staff did a sucky job of preparing their team. HOW DO YOU NOT have a plan B at QB?

But to be clear, you can stop trying to lay that at my feet. I don't care what their problems were and since you seem content with ignoring all of UT's problems, which were arguably more severe, then I'm fine with ignoring your heavy panting here.

And our QBs do? Seriously, Texas was missing so many people and you're going to just go right past that. That's logical.

The coaching staff had the same problems before the injuries. So don't give me that.

They had the same amount of Injuries against Iowa State? How about WVU and TCU where the didn't compete?

This is a serious situation, guys. Let's call it DefCon 4. Our Freshmen just beat Briles draft eligible kids. Our linebackers were mostly freshmen. Our offensive line had at least 2 freshmen. Our defensive backfield was almost all freshmen. Our running back, a freshman. The wide receiver who was most productive, a freshman. Defensive line, Poona is a Sophomore.

DefCon 4. They may decide to declare for the draft in a year.
The problem is the coaching.

Baylor was playing a fourth string QB who couldn't pass the ball to save his life, so Texas dials up a defensive scheme that gives up 400 yards on the ground. A competent defensive coordinator doesn't get mauled like that. Hell, on Baylor's last drive, on 2nd and 26, the QB breaks loose for 24 yards. Our coaching staff absolutely sucks.

The players have potential. The coaching staff is in over its head.

No, they won with that QB last week. Wasn't a problem then. You're making this up as you go along, aren't you? What do you want here? A hug?

Do you have kids attending Baylor or something?

Have you noticed that djohn posts like GBT? He answers his own posts. One after the other. Hmmmm.

I said the coaching staff had the same problems before the injuries, I was referring to Texas. And Baylor won with that 4th stringer last week?

Not saying don't celebrate. You should do that. It's the "eat crow" part that is bothersome.

You've said that a dozen times now. In case you haven't noticed, you're alone in that thought. So it's only bothersome to you. We get that.

Now, back to the chest pumping! Scoreboard Baylor! Wooo Hooo!

Man what is up with all these negative comments. Look if you're a Texas fan there's no need for the negativity. This site is for those who love Texas, yes it's been a tough year but when you can beat a ranked team (I don't care about them missing their QBs, they still had a chance to win but didn't) then you celebrate every chance you get.

Except your downing on everyone. Not just SHA. You honestly just sound like somebody who doesn't want to be happy with our program right now.

Once again, and I'm done with this psycho stuff after this one, I don't give a damn what Baylor's problems are. Perhaps they should have dropped Baylor in the rankings this week? Or maybe NOT make them 21 pt favorites?

If you want to throw a pity party for Baylor, thats fine. Save yourself the money and don't invite us. lol
