Texas (15-4, 4-2) looks to win its 5th straight game and 3rd straight over a ranked opponent. Baylor (13-5, 1-4) is ranked 24th and has lost 3 straight.

Texas taking control (somewhat) but the Longhorns are the better TEAM. Baylor has talent but I see no team chemistry.

Isaiah Taylor. Wow. That dude is special. Not NBA special yet but in a year or two, he might. His size might be the greatest hinderance to the NBA IMO.

In basketball rankings, almost 95% of the time they only rank AAU players. So if you pay attention to local high school talent, you can get a gem like Isaiah Taylor.

This is the key. We have a BRUTAL stretch coming up, with hard games with KU, @Kay-State, OSU, @ISU. That's just the month of February. There's still time to "collapse" but this team is tenacious. I like it.

I wouldn't be shocked if Texas goes 1-3 or even 0-4 during that stretch. I wouldn't be shocked if they went 4-0 as well. However, the strength of the Big 12 will ensure Texas gets in and since these game will be in early to mid February, there will be plenty of time to get some wins. Get to 20 wins and you're golden this year in the Big 12.
