Moreland was talking about Gurwitz swinging at that pitch outside the zone when the batter before him got rung out on a pitch wider than that one! What's he to do, take strike 3?

Edit note: I thought it was the 3rd strike but seeing Joey's update, I see it was just strike 2. Oh well, as I said, on the batter before a wider pitch was a strike.

Our approach at the plate tonight is absolutely pitiful.  Guys are consistently swinging over the top of balls, and either driving them right into the turf or squibbing them barely to the infielders.  They're not seeing the ball well at all.
