****Texas vs #10 Texas Tech Game Thread****

Texas should have won this in regulation but couldn't hit their FTs. Be that said, how was that final shot in OT not an offensive foul (push off)?

Another should have win in regulation.  Shaka is starting to mirror the Strong regime.  He is paving his exit next year if he doesn't start winning winnable games.

I thought it could have been called an offensive foul, but Roach also fouled Evans on the elbow on the way up. Officiating was just way too inconsistent on both team. Players are supposed to decide the game, but they can’t do that when 53 fouls are called.

My daughter was at the game last night (she attends Tech).  She called me just to fuss about the officiating.  Said it was atrocious. I agreed...

That officiating crew was a complete dumpster fire. They should not be allowed to officiate another game this season.

Proud of the guys for continuing to fight, especially considering Mo, Matt, and Jase fouled out and the injuries during the game. Matt missing those free throws though...I have no words. He hits at least two of those, we win the game.

I've been saying the same thing all year.  This team will be lucky to finish .500 in conference.  They are as athletic as any team in the country.  The one and only thing that will prevent us from making the tourney.... or if we do getting past the round of 32 is that we are poor at shooting 3s and free throws.

I maintain that Shaka needs to prioritize shooting much higher when he recruits.

Totally agree with your comments. In hindsight, Coleman hits one of those FTs and the Horns win.

I also think that Dylan O played some bad basketball last night. You look at some of his "drives" last night and they were just butt ugly. It seem when he went to the bench when he got hurt, Texas came to life. We need the Dylan of old back. Maybe it's his hair?  ;)
