Texas begins its journey in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament tonight in a First Four matchup in Dayton, Ohio. The Longhorns (18-14) will face North Carolina State (20-13), both 11 seeds, with the winner earning a matchup against 6-seed BYU on Thursday.

Tipoff time is scheduled for 8:10 pm with the game being televised on TruTV.

Somehow they held on... wow! Can Wilcher transfer already? I don't think I've seen a more incompetent D1 player in a Texas uniform. Turnovers and boneheaded plays are all I have seen from him the entire year.

Good to see Weaver get more minutes and he recorded his first double-double as a Horn. He had some key plays that don't show up in the box that helped Texas win the game, IMHO he was the MVP.

Mark was clutch on those last 2 buckets of his and I don't think the last one was a prayer.
