Texas v Texas Tech - Big 12 tourney Round 1

[Worster1]

Must win game for the Horns if they want a possible invite to the Big Dance.

Horns have a 4 point lead at half... Felix appears to be back.

Go Horns!

[Matt Cotcher]

The lead is 11 but the game doesn't feel that close.

[Aaron Carrara]

'Horns opening this thing up, lead Tech 51-35, 12:21 left in the game.

[utisdabomb12]

Texas is looking pretty offensively tonight. Moving the ball, getting the ball inside, penetrating, and so on.

[streettopeschel]

Two rotation players rolling ankles. Another reason you'd prefer a bye.

Who rolled their ankle? Not getting the game here.

[streettopeschel]

Do they play hockey there? Lotta slipping and sliding

[utisdabomb12]

This might be our best game all year.

[streettopeschel]

Who rolled their ankle?

Felix and Holmes. Both limped off but neither appears too serious.

Felix and Holmes. Both limped off but neither appears too serious.

Hope not. That's not good.

[Aaron Carrara]

If Cam Ridley played like this every game Texas would be.........

[streettopeschel]

This might be our best game all year.

playing #177 bomb. Throttle back. Taking KU to the limit at Phog kills this.

Yancey too.

[Aaron Carrara]

Horns are going dancing.

Final: Texas 65 - Tech 53

Story with post-game coming

[utisdabomb12]

Texas did what it had to do.

[streettopeschel]

TCB. What the hell, let's just keep winning and fire Barnes after the final four.

[Sirhornsalot]

Ridley loves playing Tech. He puts on a cape when we play them.

Glad to get the win, we're now at 20 wins. Should get us in the dance but would love to knock off ISU and gain some assurance.
