Texas v Texas Tech - Big 12 tourney Round 1

[Matt Cotcher]

TCU beat KSU, so the Horns should tip in about 20-25 minutes...

[Matt Cotcher]

Official tip time is 8:39

[Aaron Carrara]

TCU picked up their first win in Big 12 tournament play tonight I believe.

[Aaron Carrara]

Goals:

1. Win the tip off

2. Win the game

[Aaron Carrara]

Texas has an obvious size advantage over Tech.

yep

[Matt Cotcher]

Horns look relaxed & confident (like they don't know they're on the bubble).

[Aaron Carrara]

Texas shooting 36.4% from the field and Tech shooting 45.5% (11:15 left, 1st half).

[Matt Cotcher]

When this team is in rhythm it's almost painful to watch.

[Aaron Carrara]

Some threes are being jacked tonight.

Not playing tight. They've missed some looks but at least they're taking them.

[Aaron Carrara]

Need to take smarter shots.  Just 3-11 from 3 point range.

Despite the low percentage, they've been aggressive shots & therefore don't bother me.

I'd like to see more scoring from the post.

Tech hanging around. We could use a fast 5-minute start in the 2nd. Like really could use.
