Texas football program is worth $126 million (2010 numbers). It finished ahead of second place Notre Dame which is worth $115 million. The interesting thing is that this does not include ANY of the Longhorn Network Revenue. Look for Texas to take a larger lead next year when the financials are made public.

With all that money you would think the would think of their own. The LHN has assured I seen nearly nothing of Longhorn sports. I always watched the girls volleyball with my mom and now it is on LHN while in previous years it has been on Fox Sports Southwest. I just fail to see the value of hosing your base with content that was free in the past. It has been a monumental failure.

I guess we need to be optimistic and hope that one of these YEARS we will be able to get the LHN. I am considering either switching to or adding Verizon fIOS to my home. I cannot handle doing without it!!!! Especially all the damn basketball games I am missing.

Not an option here, Vios is not available and I live in a condo so Direct TV is not an option..Plus I love my UVerse..

I am under the brainwashing and control of Comcast. My cable/internet/tv bill is $246 per month. I gotta get outta that deal. Ridiculous.

Try Vios or U Verse..I switched from Times Warner and a $200 monthly bill to U Verse..My internet and tv run a little over a $100 and I have all channels except HBO..with HBO it would be about $115..Vios is about the same..
