Other notes. TCU or A&M need to win this year because they are probably losing a lot.

TCU could very well lose Ferrell, Travel, Teakell, Alexander, Cody Jones, Morrison, Odell, and Keaton Jones.

A&M could very well lose Allemand, Taylor, Long, Nottebrook, Nau, Freeeman. It wouldn't surprise me either if one or maybe even two out of Minter, Stubblefield and Vinson are also gone.

French was drafted in the 5th round by the Rockies.

Surprisingly Ben Johnson hasn't been drafted yet. Maybe he returns?

Surprisingly Kingham hasn't be drafted yet either. Draft is going well for Texas. Would be huge if we get him on campus.

The aggies have likely lost 4 pitchers from their 2015 class to the draft. Minter and Long were also taken early. They are taking a beating.

Johnson, Hinojosa and Kingham still haven't been drafted in round 8.

Johnson and CJ are gone IMO.

Johnson and CJ are gone IMO.
Maybe so. I didn't expect Johnson to fall this far. If he falls past round 10, I would lean towards him returning. I don't have any insight on which way he's leaning though.

Kingham, Johnson and Hinojosa weren't drafted in the first 10 rounds. Did not see that coming. Maybe a shot that we see a couple of those guys on campus next year.

Thought this might be of interest to some of y'all.

Spoke to a buddy who is a MLB scout this evening who said that "in rounds 6-10, teams are going after college Sr guys and paying 5-10K to save money. We can give up to 100K without it counting against the cap in rounds 11-40.

A lot of college Jr's will go 11-15 tomorrow. It's a business decision and unfortunately the players aren't picked according to ability. Srs don't have any leverage unless they are top 2-3 round talent It sucks but that's the way it is."

Hinojosa & Johnson both selected in the 11th round.

Like joeywa said last night, they can offer more in Round 11 than 10,both of them go in 11. JoeyNosterdamusWa

I would guess both Johnson and Hinojosa are gone. Johnson will be a big loss. Not all that mad about Hinojosa, I've heard he's somewhat of a cancer in the lock room. I think we can also upgrade with Baker.

Either way, good luck to both guys in their decision.
