Texas strands Shaw on 2B in T5

In B5, Horns get a 6-4-3 DP; Bocchi gives up a 2-out single before getting a KL to end it

Thru 5 complete, Horns up 3-0

Ham gets a 1-out walk but Texas can't move him off of 1B

Headed B6, Horns up 3-0

B6 starts out with a routine popup into shallow RCF, wind holds it up, Kody goes to grab it, ball falls out of his mitt as he falls over backwards.  Runner ends up on 2B; should've been an E4, but for some reason it was officially scored a double.

Bocchi works around that and retires the next 3

Horns up 3-0 thru 6 complete

T7

Shaw gets HBP for the 3rd time tonight.

Horns can't move him around.

Horns up 3-0 at the stretch

Fields in to pitch B7

B7

Kam Fields gets a 1-2-3 frame

Horns up 3-0 headed T8

T8

Hamilton gets his first collegiate dinger with a 1-out, 2-run shot to give the Horns a 5-0 lead

Horns works a couple of walks, but Baker gets CS and McCann grounds out

Headed B8, Horns up 5-0
