6-1 Texas heading into the bottom of the 6th. Knew we could score runs this year, but if we continue this type of pitching we will probably be back in the World Series. Very good showing so far. Only run given up so far was unearned.

Texas beat NC 7-3. North Carolina has received top 25 votes so they aren't a scrub. Nice first ever outing for Freshman Slatten on the mound. Our offense looks to be productive, like I thought they would be this year.

Texas plays Louisiana Lafayette today and tomorrow. Should be another good test, since Lafayette is ranked in the top 15.

Texas beats Louisiana Lafayette 10-7. Texas was down 5-0 in the first inning so great comeback. ULL isn't a joke either, a top 15 team that has a chance to make the World Series.
