Can't believe this is the first time the softball team has reached the championship game/series.  It's going to be a tough series against ou.

Texas was in the WCWS with Cat more than once and one time they were 1 strike away from playing in the championship but UCLA got the winning run off Cat. You're correct about the no offense. If I remember right that game was like 2-1 UCLA.

You are correct on WCWS appearances. My brain thought ne thing and fingers typed something else.

I meant no champlonship wins . With this teams offense Kat might have won two or more. She had to pitch a shut out to win.

It would be great to see signees from all the sports on this site, not just football; at least I haven't seen it.  I've come across some signees from Baseball and Girls Basketball.

In all seriousness, this OU team might be the best hitting team I've ever seen in college softball. I dont even think it's close to anyone else.

Admittedly, I'm not an avid college softball follower, but i've seen my share over the years.

I've never seen anything like it either. I told the wife they are almost a too good of a hitting team ?

Almost unreal. Hopefully the Lady Longhorns can use this as a springboard to make an appearance in the WCWS a regular occurrence.

Not an excuse when i say this, but I did not expect Texas to be anywhere near the WCWS this year or next.  So, in my eyes this team is 2 years ahead of schedule.  More power and at least one ace pitcher are needed on this team.  Their defense is outstanding but they need to score runs to make it worth it.  Great season.
