ESPN says regarding his strengths, "Simon is a rangy point guard who has improved all aspects of his game. He pushes the ball well in the open court, has terrific vision, and his passing is special in the open court. He is an outstanding athlete who affects the game with his length, assertiveness, and IQ."
SCOUT says, "At 6-5, Simon has wide shoulders and a lengthy set of arms. He's been measured with a 6-11 wing span. Simon plays on the ball and is effective in that role. He sees the floor well and is a good passer. Defensively he's able to guard three positions and is a menace as an on the ball defender. Simon is also a very good rebounder from the guard position. The next step in his development is developing his long-range shot." SCOUT ranks him as the top point guard in 2015.

In one interview he says he is 6'-4 1/2". He looks like he could play and defend the one, two, or three ...
