Texas offers Bowie OL Tope Imade

I started a thread a few months ago saying watch out for this guy because he was about to blow up. His stock has gone through the roof recently. We've updated you a few times in Burnt Ends on him and today after Joe Wickline went to see him practice he got an offer. I'm still getting some quotes together, but Imade has called Texas a dream school in the past. Stay tuned for more from Imade.

Imade was excited when I talked to him. He was waiting for his dad to get home so he could tell him about the offer. "I don't really have a top school, we are going to begin narrowing down the list".

I asked Imade if he was going to camp at Texas and he said he didn't know yet because of a planned family vacation. "I'm definitely going to visit campus sometime this summer".

I asked Imade what stood out most about Texas and he said Tradition was the biggest thing. He's just getting to know Joe Wickline and is looking forward to getting to know Charlie Strong better. Strong's disciplined approach doesn't bother Imade who said he comes from a very disciplined household. "I like coaches who are hands on and push me to be the best".

Imade and Wickline talked about his future on the line. While Imade plays guard, he has a tackle's body. Wickline told him it would depend on his weight and how he plays this year. Imade has several big offers including Michigan who offered this week. He told me LSU and Arkansas have been talking with him a lot. Bowie has their spring game next Thursday and I'm going to try and make it to get some more on Imade.
