Texas finishes the 3rd round in 6th place at +10.

Their 3rd round score was -8 which tied UCLA for the best 3rd round as well as the best round of the tournament so far. 

They are 7 strokes out of first (Georgia +3) and 4 strokes out of second (USC +6).

They are 4 strokes ahead of the two teams (UCLA & Georgia Tech) that are tied for 8th at +14. 

Of the teams in the top 8, the scores from the 3rd round ranged from -8 to +8 so you could a have a lot of changing going on from top to bottom.

It's not official yet but it appears Texas will finish in the Top 8 (currently in 4th).

We wound up tied with Georgia for 3rd. The Horns will go head to head with USC as match play begins tomorrow. Beau Hossler had a crazy round today. 7 birdies, but on 3 holes he triple bogie, double bogie, and bogied to wind up 1 under for the round. Live coverage again tomorrow on the Golf Channel.
