Glad I got that out of the way.
All Bad folks.
Kansas went on a 25-2 run that sealed it for the Jayhawks. Jonathan Holmes was the only bright spot for the Longhorns but everyone else just could not perform. Isaiah Taylor was off, Cameron Ridley kept fouling, no one could hit the broad side of the barn for Texas tonight. Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid played like elite NBA players tonight and Kansas got their role players and guards involved as well. If Kansas plays this way in the tournament, they will win their 6th national championship.
Texas just isn't good enough to win on the road against very good teams. It's the truth that is clearly evident. However, they are dominate at home which the Longhorns come back to on Wednesday against Baylor. Then at Oklahoma. "Senior" night against TCU and at Texas Tech to end the regular season. I think the Longhorns have a great chance to go 3-1 and finish 23-8 in the regular season. With such a young team coming back, exciting times in the Drum to come. So relax, go out tonight and have some fun and forget this loss. Just ran into a buzzsaw tonight.
