Why does the matter to Longhorn Fans, A Jr, by the name of Michael Cantu and the Moody High School will be taking on Rider High School in one of the 4A Semi-Final Game on Thursday Night. Cantu is will sign his LOI in November. Great Kid, Great Family.

In other news I went to Belton, Texas on Friday to watch the 2A Regional Final between Troy High School and Salado. The starting pitcher for Troy in game 2 of the 3 game series was Sr. LHP Jon Malmin. Came away very impressed with Malmin, he is just a player.. Skip Johnson get him a good one..

I am excited about the group of guys we have coming in next season - particularly the arms. If we can just get our offensive production up....... we just might win a conference series or two......

I really like this class from top to bottom, from what I have seen this is a tight group already...

We just need to keep the MLB draft away...

I will be attending some of the State Tournament games this week....look for more images..

Also, On the 15th of June(Saturday) The THSBCA will have its all star game at the Dell Diamond... Great event with a great collection of Kids!! Yes, I will have images from that event as well.

Then I stayed for the night cap... This is the one that I wanted to see and I came away very impressed.. Man, Michael Cantu is a very imposing person behind the plate..

The other reason I wanted to see Moody play, is of their LHP Keeny Saenz.. Kenny has been on varsity since he was a Freshman..

Very impressed his mental make up when he is on the mound.. Also, has a very nice breaking pitch..

Tomball won the 4A and The Woodlands won the 5A. I would pay to see those two teams square off..
