1. Bijan Robinson, RB, Salpointe Catholic (2-0) (Tucson, AZ) defeated Desert Edge (AZ) . Robinson had a record-setting night. He rushed for 498 yards and six touchdowns. At one point, he averaged 33 yards per carry. He now has more than 5,000 career rushing yards.

2. Ja’Quinden Jackson, QB, Duncanville (2-0) defeated South Oak Cliff 59-3.

Private school, travels the country playing good teams.

They just played two weeks in Florida after losing to St Joe's Prep (PA). After Duncanville, they go back home to play IMG (FL). They also have Mater Dei (CA) on the schedule.

Got to watch part of this game. Haynes King was wildly inconsistent last night. You can clearly see the talent but a couple plays were real head-scratchers.

Nothing about his performance said 5-star talent to me. He made some good passes, but others were ducks. Against a good team, that might have cost them the W.
