***Texas Baseball vs A&M Corpus Christi 2-game series thread***

Maybe, but it was merely cold.  And not even freezing, just cold (40s.)  Not wet.  Nothing that these guys haven't played in before.  I think it was more being lackadaisical on a handful of plays.  It will be addressed I'm sure.
I sorta know what you mean but baseball in the cold…  just ain’t baseball.

Tell me.  My son grew up in WA playing baseball, and I coached.  Certainly not the same as me growing up playing in Texas.  But they played.  Rain, snow, cold, you name it.  In looking at tonight's game, when Pierce called on Messinger to come in and PH later in the game for Powell, I thought, 'you couldn't have picked a better guy to come in on a chilly evening when you needed a clutch hit than the kid that transferred in from Kansas.'

I played in Texas as well. My kids have grown up playing baseball in Ohio. First tournaments in March.  My kids have played in snow. Not the same game.
