Campbell with an infield single down the 3B line, a balk and then Garret G gets hit in the helmet. Stays down for a minute before hopping up livid. He seems good to go though and sprints down to 1st.

Might have been, the hitter didn't seem to be too far down the line at the time but O Dowd was moving 180 degrees away from first base at the time. If he has the arm, maybe he could have got it to first in time.I think that was O dowd’s only option

LBJ hasn't had the sharpest control so far. If he can control the pitches for strikes when he needs to, he can be very effective. Flirting with disaster so far because of walks.Texas adds 1 on hit by Flores. LBJ needs a quick inning, pitch count is already high
LBJ 1-2-3 after the HR. Two quick innings for him were definitely needed. With out bullpen being depleted by injury we need him to extend to 6 or 7 innings if possible.Miami get s HR and it’s 4-1 Texas after 4 complete
40 pitches and 3 walks in the first 2 innings. 52 pitches with 0 walks in the next 4. He started locating pitches better and has put together a great inning.They 6 complete Texas 4-1. LBJ has had several low pitch count innings but is now sitting at 92 pitches. Need him to get thru 7th before bullpen

Broadcast team showed an empty Texas bullpen so perhaps more of a leash than expected. I was thinking maybe 1 base runner and you make a move.

I'd send him out for the 8th as well. Gotta save as many arms as possible
