Shaw with a possible serious elbow injury...not good for the Texas relief pitching staff.

The two losses probably knock Texas out of the hosting conversation and into the middle of the pack of 2 seeds.

OSU and WVU also both lost their opening games. Perhaps the winner between those two gets the only Big 12 regional host bid but neither of them has a great resume either.

Our downfall this year has been bats going cold at times and relief pitching giving up too many runs at times. After a weekend series where we mostly avoided those issues, we looked terrible in Arlington.
