Base running mistakes by Williams and Daly cost the Horns. Stevens threw a good game, shame it was wasted.

Another thing, Texas hitters seem to take a l lot of 1st and 2nd pitches that went straight down Broadway. Swing the dang bat!

If you’ve watched any UT baseball this season at all, you know there are a couple of guys that have a tendency to be a bit “choosy” in the batter’s box. Personally not a fan of this approach. When the hitters are aggressive out of the chute, good things tend to happen more often than not.

Opposing pitchers know who take first pitches too.  That gets figured out quickly in college 

 
You bet they do. I know who I’d pipe FBs to w/o a care in the world that there would be a swing. Zero downside.

That was my point, thanks for verifying it.

I have noticed. Was watching the game with a buddy and he noticed it too.
