Is it just me, or do we hit more crushed line drives DIRECTLY at fielders than any other team in college baseball?

Other teams line drives find the holes. Ours don't. I think it's the coriolis effect or something, maybe even aliens but it's starting to piss me off

They all should have laid down the bunt.

FINAL: Nebraska 3 - Texas 1

Texas and Nebraska opened a three game weekend series amidst snow flurries on a cold Friday evening, with the Huskers prevailing 3-1. Nebraska used a three run fifth inning and strong pitching to earn the win in Game 1.

Texas starter Parker French cruised through the first four innings, only allowing two hits and no walks. However the Huskers struck for four consecutive hits in the bottom of the fifth frame to put French on the ropes. Nebraska continued their onslaught with an RBI groundout and then an RBI single from Jake Schleppenbach to finish French’s night.

The Texas offense never found a groove against the Cornhuskers’ starter, Chance Sinclair, who pitched 7.2 innings of two-hit, one-run baseball on his way to the win. Josh Roeder pitched the ninth inning, picking up his eighth save of the season.

Collin Shaw, Michael Cantu, and Zane Gurwitz had Texas’ only hits, with Shaw’s ninth inning double the only extra-base hit of the three. Gurwitz scored Bret Boswell in top of the eighth frame for Texas’ lone run.

it was 80 and not a cloud in the sky in central Texas today.

it's not even cold. it was in the 30s all day. I'm starting to think a few of y'all are grandmothers when it dips below 40.

i guess i went to the hat a little late.  got'em a run in the 8th and got a man to third but i forgot to recalibrate the karmic distance factor and angle of the bill for the cooler weather and north wind.  my bad.  in hat karma terms, its called Texas windage.

sorry, boys.  i'll try to get it re-tuned today.  after the joeywa and stp verbal attacks lately it needs some TLC.  lucky hats can be a bit temperamental.
