Texas A&M preparing to move on from coach Kevin Sumlin after 2017, per reports

According to the SECRant (I know, they're not the most reliable source on the planet) Jimbo Fisher is going to be aggys next head coach.  I'll believe it when I see it...I doubt very, very seriously that aggy is the best offer that he'll get.  If he does take it he's going to need to dial down his expectations when it comes to his new fan base because...

Thats aggy. "Hey, lets go out and find the best 3-7 coach we can find!" lol

The Jimbo Fisher/A&M stuff is nonsense.

1. A&M isn’t a better job.

2. FSU has an easier path to the playoff opposed to playing third or fourth fiddle in the SEC West.

3. Fisher was linked to Texas and LSU in previous years. Both better gigs than A&M. Believe he ended up with pay raises in both years.

How many SEC schools will be looking for a new Head Coach this year,  then you add in UCLA, Nebraska possibly.  A&M will probably not be a better offer than Florida  and if Nebraska pulls the trigger , plus Tennessee and Arkansas  just not sure if A&M will be more attractive than these I mentioned.

Correct thinking.

Why not Kliff Kingsbury. Shot in the dark.

They would be better off keeping Rumlin and waiting until next year.

The only way Sumlin is let go is if they lose 2 of their last 3 games. And that isn't happening. They have New Mexico, Ole Miss, and LSU. They win at least 2 of those and wouldn't be surprised to see them win all 3.

All this talk from the blowhard aggie higher-ups is nothing more than huffing and puffing.
