In what is my first free weekend in a while I've spent some time watching film and appearing at camps to see prospects live. In that time I think I've uncovered 3 cornerbacks (or at least 2 cornerbacks and one athlete that can play corner) and I'd like to reveal them to you.
Matt Hankins - CB - Flower Mound Marcus
He checks all the boxes for a Strong DB. 6 foot plus, good athleticism, plays physical. He camped at Texas this summer and visited for a game, plus there is a link there with teammate Andrew Fitzgerald. Texas is talking to him a lot from what he told me and it wouldn't surprise me if they offered in the spring.
Saiid Adebo - CB/WR - Mansfield
Plays receiver but I believe his future is at corner. Again he's 6 foot plus and he played some of the most lockdown coverage I saw all playoffs.
Kobe Boyce - CB - Lake Dallas
Once again 6 foot plus with some of the best ball skills in the 17 class. Very physical player with great speed, good hips, and nice athleticism. Would jump all over a Texas offer.
