I watched a little at the beginning. He looked kinda like he did during his first appearances on LHN last year: stiff, little eye contact. But when he spoke, he sounded really good. I'm sure he got more comfortable as the night progressed.

Good for CFS and staff to identify potential in prospects, but shouldn't Coach Moorer get equal credit if not more for developing these guys?

JB, I don't think Moorer should get more credit, but I do think he should get credit.  Watching Strong from afar, he is involved in every facet of the program.  Without his involvement, I don't think any of the coaches on his staff would be as successful, including Moorer.  Could Coach Moorer movtivate as well as he does if Strong was sitting in his office eating Twinkies rather than working out with the guys in the weight room?

Those early morning runs have taken on a life of their own, as well.  Charlie doesn't just preach it and teach it, he lives it.  

Yes, I think Moorer should get credit, but I think Strong is the key to the program.  Interviews with former players at Louisville seem to bear that out.  As humble as Strong is, he becomes and remains a key figure in players' lives.

I had an Ag friend text me and ask "wtf is Strong doing on draft coverage?"

I said "The draft is about NFL potential. When you have 10 players drafted I think that makes you a subject matter expert. It's not like he is breaking down next season in the NFL."

He responded with "I guess."

I think they are starting to see the train coming.

The train isn't just coming, it entered a mile long tunnel, and the Ags are asleep on the tracks in the center of the tunnel.  They have two choices - back or front.

Do you think that Thompson would have been selected had he not had Strong, Bedford, & co. coaching him this year?  Diggs?  Harris as UDFA?  (I may be forgetting someone.)  We can add those to the Louisville 10.

That Bridgewater class had only four 4 star recruits, so they had a least six 2 or 3 star players drafted by the NFL.

The Malik Jefferson class had thirteen 4 star players and one 5 star player. Just about half of the class was four star recruits, while the Bridgewater class was only 20% four star recruits.

I hope this means that good times are ahead.
