I hope Ash takes this to heart. He must stay healthy.

Wow, Joe looks pretty damned disgusted in that picture.

[streettopeschel]

the China line is funny.

I appreciate Wickline's honesty, but, uggghhh.

[GBT]

Thank God we finally have coaches who are not afraid to tell it like it is. Now you don't want to tell guys they suck, but you shouldn't candy-coat it if things aren't where they should be. I am really disappointed in the OL. I was hoping the OL problem was mostly "coaching", but it appears its TALENT or lack there of; as I have feared for some years now. Since the OL is weak we will need to throw to set up the run, or our backs will be running into a brick wall against good defenses. We better not do much drop back passing, or Ash will be done by the second game. Roll outs and bootlegs will be in order, to keep him safe and out of harms way.

[Aaron Carrara]

J. Gray looks relaxed and ready to go, too.

As a college coach I wouldn't recruit OL at all. I'd go after DL only and turn the slower ones into OL like Mackovic did with Big Leonard Davis and Dominic Bustamonte (sp). I know I butchered his last name. High school coaches put their mean nasties on the DL. The timid big guys are put on the OL, so why recruit them unless they play both ways for their school.???

[Throthefade]

I've been knowing Johnathan for years... He has had that same look. lol

[java]

Wasn't Studdard a defensive lineman in HS?

[Etex Horn]

If our OL is lacking, then defense will have to be our Strong suit...no pun intended.  With Wickline, hoped our OL would be better

this season. He can only work with the personnel he has, though.  A great OL and a tough defense are the keys to winning.  We'll

see what developes.

Hook 'em Horns!
