Songs You're Embarrassed That you Love

Nothing gets the foot tapping quite like "it's raining men" ... I'm ashamed

OK, if we are going to start ranking them -- this is #1 so far

I'm sitting here sipping on wine and listening to music and I was thinking how I have so many really cheesy and lame songs that I love, and I thought it would be a good thread to talk about these guilty pleasures. I'll start by saying that I'm listening to this gem right now:

Dancing Queen by Abba.....my wife gives me sh** when I crank it in the car!! ha ha

Yes Dancing Queen is worthy of shame but do you play air piano when listening to it like me? Like I can play the piano.

I still get off on all things Human League. I never tire of those jams.

RoyalCrowns and Randolph Duke - you two need to take your Man Cards, lay them in the driveway, and back up over them about 52 times.

Air Supply? Spandau Ballet? You really just put that out there for everyone to see?

I Will Survive- Gloria Gaynor

In college, got drunk w/a date and this song must've been played 50 times.

Heard the disco drumbeats in my head that night, next day. But it was worth it.

my kids play it so often that it has gotten stuck in my head and I actually think I am starting to like it. Please help me!

I was in high school in the early '70s. My main interests were chasing girls and trying to be a tough high school football player (mediocre success with both). But, to the topic: I purchased EVERY album and/or 8 track tape by The Carpenters and Bread. I loved those songs, knew the lyrics to every single one. But I would only ever listen to them when alone; I didn't want any of my friends, male or female, to know how much I liked those groups and their music. I would sit at home, in the living room where the record player was, or in my car with 8 track tape player (every one of the Carpenters/Bread songs reminded me of some pretty girl)...but always ALONE! NO way I could let my buddies (who actually WERE tough football players) know how much I liked that candy-assed stuff!
