Song of the night

Watching this Social Distortion piece on AXS and it is awesome.  Mike Ness (lead singer) telling all the old stories about sex, drugs and rock & roll.  I was a big Social D fan back in the day and the music still rocks.  Punk Rock & Roll.

Here are a few songs that I've been playing on repeat all year. Some more recent than others.

Interesting stuff.  I liked the Grinderman you turned me on to a while back.  Well, at least that one song.
Grinderman is so incredibly hit and miss.

One of my absolute favorites for years now.

They don't make music like this anymore.

Long time Husker Du, Mould/ Sugar fan.  And couldn't agree more - Workbook is incredible.  Black Sheets of Rain ain't half bad either for his solo stuff.

Saw him at Liberty Lunch bask in the mid 90's - solo gig.  Just him sitting in a chair playing guitar.  He killed it.

This is just simply superb songwriting.  There's gotta be about a bazillion girls that can identify with this song.
