Zach Zubia was a two sport star at Strake Jesuit where he was the starting quarterback and played a key role in helping Strake Jesuit making a deep run into the 6A state Playoffs where they ended their season against a very talented team from Deep Park in the 4th round.

Donald:   I appreciate your hard work and reports, however I would like to ask a favor.  The information I request may be included and I'm too dense and out of touch with the modern day media methods, to understand, but I have NO clue whom you are posting about.  My lack of understanding of most tweeter posts on Hornsport is not limited to just your posts, but most that are printed here- so my rant here is not aimed at you.  Please add enough more info. that an old, out of date, and behind the times person to identify whom you are posting about.

thanks so much.

Rising two sport star Alec Carr from Kempner High School in Sugarland Texas. Carr plays QB and shortstop for the Cougars of Kempner High School.

Caught up with Asst Head Baseball Coach Eric Folkerts of Kempner High School and this is what he had to say about Carr;

Will probably be the best athlete to play Baseball for Kempner. Plays SS. 1st team all-district as a Soph... Batted .360 on the season with 3 HR, 26 rbi and 23-23 in stolen bases Topped out at 90 in Lubbock and everyone took notice.Walk off GS in 1st game of varsity career. Coach Pierce is not slowing down, just picked up a 2020;

SS Aaron Nixon from McAllen Texas.

Are we recruiting these guys way too early?  How can you project their talent that far in advance?

2020 does seem a bit..... unusual?  If he is so good to get a scholarship offer for four years down the road, MLB might be a bigger threat than lack of development.

Who is someone that would be good to follow to keep up with our baseball recruiting news and also where can I check out stats and rankings of the players? If anyone could help that'd be great

Another just dropped;

RHP Jack Neely from Churchill Hill High School class of 2018

all 6-8 or 6-7 of him
